What We Stand For
Responsible action and high-quality materials characterize our daily work. Through modern production processes, the use of selected raw materials, and a clear focus on quality, we create toys that bring joy for many years. At the same time, we pay attention to the careful use of resources and energy. The following examples show how we concretely implement this claim in our company.
Energy supply
We obtain the electricity we need for production from our own photovoltaic system or from regional green electricity.
Corporate development
We have been an ISO 14001 certified company since 2023, and we have also been FSC™ certified (FSC™ C188230) since 2023.
Raw materials used
We now produce some of our toys using recycled plastic. The wood we use is FSC™ certified (FSC™ C188230). Waste from our production is either recycled internally or passed on to a neighbouring recycling company for further processing.
Quality Characteristics
Additional laboratory tests for our products, going beyond statutory requirements, long-standing supplier partnerships, and our own product tests with children and kindergartens are among our quality features. In addition to the legally required control measures, every production batch is randomly checked according to AQL standards by internal employees or external companies.
For over X years, we have been working with selected production partners. Regular on-site visits, external audits, and independent inspections accompany our production processes. For our production facilities in the Far East, we additionally commission external inspection companies whose test reports are evaluated by our quality assurance in Europe. Release for delivery only occurs after appropriate inspection.
For us, quality does not only emerge with the finished product. That is why we work long-term with selected production partners and continuously develop processes, materials, and quality standards with them. In this, we always involve our external laboratory service providers, who also independently test and check our products.
Supply Chain Standards
Our production partners are selected based on defined criteria. For a collaboration, we expect compliance with recognized social standards, which must be demonstrated, for example, through ICTI/ETP or BSCI audits. Together with our partners, we continuously work on the further development of organizational, quality, and environmental management processes. Many of our production partners therefore have ISO 9001 certifications and, in some cases, ISO 14001. In addition, we accompany the cooperation with regular on-site visits, external audits, and independent inspections by commissioned testing service providers.
Quality with responsibility
Toys are not just created at the end of a production line. Quality begins with the selection of suitable partners, clear processes, and continuous development of standards. Our German production sites operate based on certified quality and environmental management systems according to ISO 9001 and ISO 14001. In addition, we cooperate with long-standing international production partners, where we ensure recognized quality standards. For selected products, we also use FSC®-certified materials from responsibly managed sources.

ICTI/ETP & BSCI Certification
Our suppliers in China and Indonesia are required to provide valid ICTI/ETP or BSCI certification or auditing. Without proof of these standards, a business relationship with our company is not possible.
ICTI / ETP (Ethical Toy Program) is an internationally recognised social standard for the toy industry. The program verifies that factories ensure fair working conditions, occupational safety, and compliance with labour and human rights, and promotes a responsible supply chain.
amfori BSCI (Business Social Compliance Initiative) is a globally established audit and compliance system for verifying social standards in supply chains. It assesses, among other things, working conditions, occupational safety, fair wages, and the protection of workers' rights, and supports companies in sustainable and responsible procurement.
