DIY Idea: Easter Greetings Card

Hello there,

To be honest, I am really sad that I cannot see my grandparents at the moment. Moreover, Easter time is approaching, then we usually have a great party with the whole family and grandma prepares the most delicious meal for all of us.
Since we cannot celebrate altogether, I would like to send some special Easter greeting cards. Grandma and grandpa will be very happy about it.

Do you also want to make your grandparents happy? Then join in!

All you need is:

  • DIN A4 handicraft paper
  • White acrylic paint
  • Googly eyes
  • A black, waterproof pen

Are you ready? Let’s go!

  • Fold the handicraft paper in the middle to have a folded card.
  • Now colour the palm of your hand, the fore finger and ring finger with the acrylic paint, as shown in the picture below.
  • Press the painted hand on the card, as hard as possible. If it is not fully printed, you might have to paint a bit over it with a brush.

But now we have to wait just little, so that the colour can dry properly.

I am always very impatient, so maybe it dries faster with blowing. J

  • Eventually, when the print is dry, you stick the googly eyes on and paint the mouth as well as some whiskers.

That’s it. Last but not least you write down some personal words for your grandparents and there you go.
I am proud and really excited to see if grandma and grandpa like the card.

Best wishes
