Receipt idea: Baked Potatoes

Hello my dear friends,

How are you doing today?

My last receipt idea was really successful, so I am happy to tell you that I have prepared a new one for you.

Apart from pasta, potatoes are also one of my favourite dishes. The best thing about potatoes is that they can be kept for a while. Today we will make delicious baked potatoes, better saying potato wedges, without much time and effort.

First you have to peel 800 – 1000 g of potatoes and wash them well. Then you have to cut them into slices. Depending on the size, some can be into quarters others have to be cut smaller.

Put the potato wedges in a bowl and add 4 tbsp of olive oil, 1 tsp of salt, 2 tsp of paprika and some herbs.
As for the herbs, you can use e.g. herbs de Provence but also fresh rosemary as you like.

Spread the marinated potatoes on a baking tray with baking paper and bake them in the oven at 200°C for 30-45 minutes.
From time to time, the potatoes should be turned over so that they are baked well from all sides.

I should definitely try if they are already good. At least the colour looks perfect. Be careful, hot!
The potatoes are done and can be taken out of the oven.

Besides ketchup, there are many other dips that can go with the baked potatoes. Here you can simply use whatever you have in your fridge.

The basis for the dip should be something creamy, such as yoghurt, quark, crème fraiche or cream cheese. There you can add spices and ingredients of your choice.

I made a dip with many different herbs and a little lemon juice and another dip with paprika spices and very finely chopped red bell-pepper.
How about a guacamole? There are so many possibilities.

Which dip did you choose for your baked potatoes?

Enjoy your meal!
